CFM-CPH.03.05 Worker fails to identify area as a height (with associated fall risk)
Worker fails to identify their work area/task as a fall threat, caused by:

• distraction by other pressures and perceptions
• failing to identify an edge due to work area geometry and sight lines, or presence of components (below hand rail height) nearer to the edge
• perceived short duration of task
• not identifying actual height of drop (e.g. climbing a small height onto a structure that is more elevated at another point)
• not identifying penetration/gaps in flooring
• not identifying fall injury risks (e.g. sharp objects, exposed/unprotected vertical reinforcing bars, equipment movement paths, etc.)
